Testing Process
We offer comprehensive and extensive psychological testing that requires a thorough knowledge of all aspects of your background and history. Each assessment will begin with a clinical interview during which you will be asked to provide information about your medical, psychological, educational, and social history. We also will discuss your goals for the testing such as the referral question as well as any questions you would like to have answered. If you are seeking psychological testing for your child, you and your child will participate in the interview process. We may also contact your child’s school to gather information and data about their learning, behavior, and presentation at school.
You and/or your child will be asked to answer questions, fill out questionnaires and/or rating scales, and solve problems and complete various tasks, depending on the objective of the evaluation. Results will be interpreted and shared through an evaluation report. The report will also offer recommendations for school and/or treatment planning.
