Psychotherapy in Providence, RI

Burnout doesn't always look the same across generations.

While younger workers may be more likely to openly discuss burnout, older generations can experience many of the same challenges—even if they describe or express them differently.

Exhaustion, emotional detachment, cynicism and a reduced sense of accomplishment can affect professionals at any stage of their careers.

And although workplace expectations, attitudes toward mental health and generational experiences may differ, one thing remains true: chronic workplace stress deserves attention.

Recognizing burnout isn't a sign of weakness. It's an opportunity to examine boundaries, workloads, expectations and the support we need to function well.

A healthier workplace starts with understanding that burnout can affect anyone.
