Individuals pursuing careers in academia encounter all of the stressors described for graduate school students. In addition, they need to navigate unique experiences like publishing pressure, anxiety about teaching, grant applications, job talks, and intra-departmental politics.

Our location in College Hill puts us right in the middle of many high schools and universities. All of the therapists at PVD Psychological Associates have expertise and a special interest in working with children, older adolescents, and adults at various stages in their education and/or careers in academia.
